Hi Fred and Geraldine,
I have just come across your ASQ hoop videos. I enjoyed very much. I Could not see any of the designs. (Feather designs) I would love to give that a go. Also could you please tell me the name of the batting that was used.
Thanks
HI Geraldine, Please help. I have been pondering over what the file names associated with your download patterns mean. Ie. 11 12 15k. Does this relate to to the machine models or are I away off beam by thinking this way. I have a 15000 Horizon.
Yes Marie, you are correct …. 11 is for the MC11000 12 is for the MC12000 & 15K is for the MC15000
Geraldine, you are truly going above and beyond ! ?
There is so much content in your videos and your teaching style is very easy to follow. I highly recommend to anyone who’s hesitating to join!!
Hi, I live in New Zealand and I enjoy the 15000. Do you have a video on the different feet and what they are used for, Were do I get your new designs? I can not find the one you used on the mug mat. How often are there machine updates
Keep up the good work so we can learn more on how to use this great machine.
Hi Marie,
We are trying to incorporate different feet each month, is there any one in particular you would like to cover sooner than later.
Which new designs are you looking for, our design sets pop up in an advert in the righthand sidebar, if what you are looking for is not there let me know.
There has only been 1 update for the 15000 in 2 years ( you should have ver2) but you can check on Janome’s website for machine update at anytime.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your videos. I am a visual person and needs to refer to the videos often. Question please can these videos be saved on a stick or somewhere for future use. This would be a great help to me.
Yes I am like others who did not get much tuition when purchased my 15000.
Hi Marie,
Unfortunately at the moment because the videos are delivered within the members area and stored in a protected format there is no option to download at this stage.
If there enough interest we may be able to look at making the videos available on a DVD or USB stick in the future.
Fred
Hi Fred
I am having trouble with video on the D foot. It is stuck loading and has been for days. Other ruffles videos are working fine. Can you help please?
Thanks
Frances
Hi Frances,
Not sure I understand, the “D” is covered in the 1st video on month 6 along with the “Ruffler Foot”, and plays fine this end. Have you tried refreshing the page?
Hi Geraldine and Fred
I am so pleased with the Studio Tutorials and free designs I have received each month since joining. I have learned alert so far and can’t wait to see what’s next. I loved the specialty feet videos. The digitizing will be very helpfull since I am a beginner to MBX. Thanks so much.

Hi, I’m in the USA, I go by Kate. Not an owner of a Janome, but can see value in learning as much as I can about embroidery from every source available. I look forward to inter-acting with everyone.
Hi to you all, I live in the UK and gradually learning all the tricks on the 1500, videos are a great help and can be played over and over .roll on next month
Fred, as you are aware we are not on Facebook are we missing out on anything ?? Thanks Bob.
Hi Bob, some of the members have introduced themselves and where there from, there have also been a few questions which have been answered, so there is a little bit going on in the group. But anything created by Geraldine for “The Studio” is made available in the members area.
Fred
Fred, could you please turn down the background radio it is a bit distracting over Geraldine’s voice !! Thanks Bob.
Hi Bob,
Yep, we noticed it after the event, so it’s another thing to check before we record. 🙂
Fred
Hello,
I just joined and I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos. I’ve only found three, though — the MC 15000 Introduction, the Mug Rug, and the ASQ hoop videos. Are there any more?
I’ve owned my 15000 for a little over a year now but still have a lot to learn I think. You do a great job demonstrating and explaining in your videosl Thanks!
Paula P.
Hi Paula,
you should have access to the designs and and videos for the 1st month, more content is released on a monthly basis and you will gain access to that content on the anniversary of the day you joined
I’m glad you are learning from and enjoying Gerrie’s training, she certainly knows her stuff, but then I’m bias 🙂
Fred
What and where are the videos for the 1st month? Are they the ones I mentioned (the MC 15000 Introduction, the Mug Rug, and the ASQ hoop videos)? Also, are there pictures of the Zentangle designs in that collection?
Thanks again,
Paula P,
Yes Paula, the Month 1 videos are the ones you refer to and we are organising photos of and will update the Zantangles page in the next few days.
Hi Just joined looking forward to learning my 15000
Cheers
Hi Cheryle,
Welcome to the community, there is a tutorial on the 15000 menus in the members area, looking forward to your feedback 🙂
Do you have visa? I do not have a paypal account.
Hi Linda,
at this time we can only process payments via Paypal, can you setup an account with them?
I seem to be able to get current messages on the facebook page, but I cannot get updates when I login to “The Studio”. Other members are talking about “ducks”, and Fred says he has posted a missing video in Month 2. I see the butterflies, but nothing beyond that. I’m still hoping I can unzip designs, rather that keep them in a zipped file. I do not know how to send a zipped file to my machine, or to view the design. Besides, I will then have both zipped and unzipped designs, which seems to me like it is complicating the process.
Hi Sue,
I have replied to you via email to explain that the additional content (ducts etc) are in Month 2, and you will have access on the anniversary of the day you joined.
The reason the design files are zipped is to allow for quicker downloads.
Hope that helps
I can get to the site where the three videos are located, however when I try to watch the 15000, the screen remains green,, no pictures, there is audio. What do I need to do???
Hi Pat,
You may need to try a different browser or refresh your screen
Fred
how often will you have a class? when will new things be offered? thanks Judy
Where are you located Judy?
I am in Colchester,Ill
Hi Judy,
feel free to share any questions and your projects within the private FB group.
Appreciate having you as a member of the Inner Circle 🙂
I am interested in all of the topics that you said that you will cover in the “Studio”. I am floundering with the Artistic Edge Cutter 15 so any instruction or help would be terrific. In the future I hope to get the MBX5 software. In the free designs this month I was not able to access the 12 15K designs, the others OK. As Pat Hicks has said there is very little instruction available when you buy a new machine. The videos from you on the 15000 have been most helpful, Thank you.
Watched video on 15000, thanks! When I purchased my 15000, the dealer did not give any lessons with it and I have read manual and trial and error learned what I know. Thank you for the explanations you have given.
Good to have you as part of the Inner Circle and glad you enjoyed it Pat
